Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

Assassin's-Creed IV-Black flaG

It's been five days since I've finished playing, don't know exactly how long since I had started. This might take long but bear with me as I have been waiting a while for this, not because I have played almost every episode from the series, not because I found the previous installment of the American revolution with  ConnorRatonhnhaké:ton a bit of a let-down as compared to the Italian renaissance following the life of  Ezio Auditore da Firenze. The true reason behind this is that I believe it is in all of us, that is the spirit of our childhood days when we used to let out the fun made in playing as Pirate's. I think the first time I got exposed to the life of a sailor was with Sin-bad, even now the novel that am busy trying to finish is based on the life at sea. Further more am not really sure if it's true about the rest of the human race, but I now know that the love for sea, the open vast blue seven seas has engrossed me since I can remember even of knowing what it was, Albeit I can't even swim and am sure even that my first few minutes in a ship would be spent hauling out what I had eaten the previous night.
But here in is my escape, the life of a pirate, trading blows, drinking rum, blasting flintlocks and cannons, chanting with your bro's... okay maybe am getting ahead of myself but you get my drift. It was all good and as always the graphics were up to standard, even liked the representation of Vane, Kidc and Blackbeard.
Now if you’d ask me if this is the game of legends I’d say no! Want to know why?
Well this is a typical standard Assassins Creed game, first you drool over candy and then in the end you get bored. Like all Assassins Creed games Black flag reaches its climax at the 40% progress, then before you know it it’s repetition of standard speeches, finding glitches and undiscovered places and more repetition of standard mission, more text instead of voice overs in this day and age.
Well enough play all that I am left with now is taking down the legendary ships then it's adios Buccaneers.

*Hint:

  • If you get tired of the rifle man shooting at you whilst in combat, collect all the Mayan stone’s then you can get the Mayan outfit that repels bullets.
  • When upgrading your ship concentrate mostly on mortars, cannons and armor, you can find plans for these by finding maps and going treasure hunting. Just keep on giving a good tip to the barman.
